Great story!I just saw the new feature story on the home page about Bobby Chase .... I knew he was a good player, but he sounds like an even better person. Great stuff.
It is a great story. It's kids like Chase who are going to lead the Ponies to the next level. Good luck this afternoon!
Excellence is not an act but a habit. Aristotle
That may be the best story I've ever read on this site. Bobby is a very talented guy, but it sounds like he understands how hard work and some extra effort can make him a better player. Let's hope the other young players follow his lead starting in the spring.
Season's over, but if you haven't read the story on the home page, you need to check it out. Bobby Chase sounds like he really "gets it" -- what it takes to get better. Can't wait to see how much he improves between now and August. He's going to be a really good one...
There was a note in the paper that Romo and Chase got in an argument on the sideline in the UTEP game. Anybody know anything?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re:
Absolutely. Even if he doesn't run a 4.2 in the 40 or bench press Ford Stadium, Bobby Chase is the kind of player we need. Hopefully a lot of his teammates will follow his lead. Great story.
B. Chase is a leader. A leader!!!!! I can't wait to see his improvement in the 2005 Red & Blue Spring Game going into Conf. USA!
Great motivational story! Anyone know when the annual Red & Blue Spring game is scheduled for?
B.C'S passion and intensity during the games i have watched him. Many of times I wanted to scream for him to take over lead , dictate, dominate his team and his opponent

sorry, but based on what I have seen from this offense, if you ever see us next year with Kennedy and Chase both in at T.E.'s, it will not be because we are about to throw the ball.
Burns likes to flood zones with the little guys - we have not seen alot of short throws to the TE's or backs out of the backfield. Would enjoy someone who really knows what they are talking about to explain why the burns offense is better for SMU -
Re:You expect to find that on this board?!?!? ![]()
Better then what? - Better then the alternative for us - which I assume is a more straight ahead pro style offense with 2 backs, 2 wide outs and a tight end. I have alsways heard if you have the better athletes you run that - if you don't you do the "gimmick" offenses - clearly we have not had the better athletes in the past, but as we move there do we see a more traditional offensive scheme. And no, I don't care enough to get an appointment with Rusty, I am just wondering if someone who knows even a little can answer that one for me.
