Point-shaving investigation begins into Hawaii football

The Honolulu Police Department is investigating anonymous point-shaving allegations involving University of Hawaii football players, school officials announced this afternoon.

UH President MRC Greenwood said the UH has also alerted NCAA of the allegations.

A brief statement by Greenwood said UH officials received an anonymous letter alleging point shaving by unnamed players of the Warrior football team.

Greenwood and UH Board of Regents Chairman Eric Martinson met with HPD Chief Louis Kealoha "to offer UH's full cooperation with HPD's inquiry."

Well, what is SMU against the spread this year? That should end all doubt. I am sure we are about .500.

Wonder if Jones' prints show up any where? His time in Hawaii isn't to be confused with Mother Theresa. Almost as many locals were happy to see him leave as there were displeased.
