Oh HELL YEAH!

Ponies played great, especially on defense. Ugo Ihemelu, Jay Needham, Mynor Gonzalez and Ross Spencer were absolutely sensational. And (goalie) T.J. Tomasso played out of his mind. Unbelievable.

Beat the hell out of Tulsa - GO PONIES!

Way to go Futbol team. Last night, while the rain came down, I was thinking about how gross it would be to be outside playing soccer. Tough men and GREAT job.

Beat Tulsa!!

PLAYING in those conditions is actually a helluva lot of fun. It's watching in those conditions that is just as impressive. So, at the risk of sounding like I'm patting myself on the back -- congratulations to me and everyone else who was there, from start to finish. Saturday's game against Tulsa should be cold but dry. Break out the winter coats and the gloves, and bring all of your Thanksgiving guests out to see the Ponies whip the Golden Hurricane for the third time this year. With the students on break, every available PonyFan needs to be there Saturday .... and be LOUD! There were times the group of Cal parents made more noise than we did, and Tulsa will bring a fair number of fans. We can not be out-cheered.

GO PONIES!
