Sounds epic and historically it would be but Hoke needs to bring an A plus game plan and Alabama needs to think they have the game won when they get there, Saban is not going to let that happen. I k now Michigan has 2 wins vs Alabama but don't know where the overall series stands.... Michigan is 26-7-1 vs the SEC But that the OLD Michigan.....

There were two great bowl games between Michigan and Alabama. Michigan won that one Orange Bowl? 35-34 with a missed extra point.

And then the great Hall of Fame Bowl in the Old Tampa stadium when John Kolesar caught that late touchdown pass from Taylor (I think) to beat the Tide something like 20-16.

We don't have to go there with the Rose Bowls....

Another kid from a few miles from him in Nebraska has come to me on many occaisions throughout the season and said man why are you guys all so nice? in the Big 12 everybody hates everybody, I love the Big Ten! Ol' Jesse may not have learned to cheer for his rivals yet, but he will. BIGTEN excuse me TWELVE together, stronger than all.

Honestly, it's been great. I was against the move initially, but until the Husker implosion the last few weeks its been the most fun season I can remember. Just been fun to get to play new teams and travel to new places.

Only thing I miss at all about the Big 12 is the Oklahoma game. Texas game was always fun too, even though they had our number for some reason, but we only got to play one of Oklahoma or Texas every year after the Big 12 formed. The rest of it was getting your tires slashed in Columbia and getting urine bombs and batteries thrown at you from the Buffs fans.

Shockingly, this Friday is the first game I have ever been shut out of. There aren't tickets available anywhere. Only a few singles. Osborne's PR guy actually called my dad to see if my dad had any extra tickets for him. (There are a total of 15 tickets left on Stub Hub right now--cheapest pair is $275 per ticket.) Crazy for a game between teams just battling to stay out of the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

It's stable. And there's a common purpose. This conference is the best going. Obviously, the SEC has better teams but when you want a united front I'll put the Big 10 beofre any conference.

As I like to say, "Behold the Power of the Big 10.''

I expected it to be high, but I expected Ohio St to be a much tougher ticket. This has been tougher to find a ticket to than any time OU or UT ever came to town. I've been to a ton of games that were Oklahoma-Nebraska #1-#2/#1-#3, Colorado-Nebraska where both teams were in the Top 5. Never been shut out before.

Wasn't expecting unranked Iowa vs barely ranked Nebraska to be the first time in 33 years I couldn't get a ticket. Especially after you guys crushed us last week. Most husker fans are pretty beat down this week. (And when we've played Iowa before it hasn't been that hard to get a ticket.)

As I've said to you guys all year.... Welcome to the Big Ten where a program like Nebraska will get the attention a program like Nebraska deserves.

I was only referring to the football where they've had the better of it IMO. The bowl games against the sec teams has to get better. Hoops? No. Big 10 is deeper and better overall teams. Just need to get IU well again.
