I predict that right after whatever bowl game we end up going to is announced
full blown panic, full blown whine, full blown complaints will immediately set in.

"we shoulda went here or there instead"
"so & so is going to a way better bowl"
"we should just stay home"
"we won't travel well"
"the players wont like it"
"we're gonna get killed"
"i sure hope we dont wear the (you name it) colored uniforms!"
"the stands will be nearly empty"
"the date of this bowl sucks"
"the start time of this bowl sucks"
"this conflicts with (you name it) so I cant go"
"no one is going to watch this game"
"are they really charging this much for tickets to a bowl like this?"
"oh no the full size horses are going & that ruins the whole thing for me & my family"
"yeah true it's our 3rd bowl game in a row, but this really sucks!"

None of those excuses will work if we have a good showing against a Big 10 team in the ticket city bowl in our old home stadium

I want anything but Hawaii bowl against a WAC team. I'ld be fine if an AQ conference filled in due to the WAC not having enough Bowl Eligible teams.

I think it's stupid to travel that far just to play a non AQ team

I don't even know who June Jone is, but am glad June Jones is the SMU coach!

The reward should be to finally have the chance to prove yourself against one of the "big boys"

Let me say this before that time.....hope the preparation for the game is on the team and not on getting a uniform that honors the opponent.

Overheard a player (not going to name him) talking and he said the team wants either the bowl in New orleans or Beef O Brady. Said That they dont want to play in Dallas.
