Was looking at George O'Leary's record at UCF and as much as many of our fans have complained UCF has only been bowl eligible in 4 of 8 seasons he has been the coach. Granted, UCF has won 2 CUSA championships and has been to the Liberty Bowl twice under his leadership winning against Georgia last season, but they are very up and down. Aside from the previous 2 seasons the pattern is basically win one season and then lose the next. I know our fans would go nuts. I am very thankful for June Jones and Adrian Klemm for their steady hand in building SMU into a consistent threat.

Up and down is CUSA specialty. Nobody in CUSA can be consistently good or beat AQ teams... Im so happy UCF beat Georgia last year. It gave them a name. We really need to beat Baylor (especially without RG3)

I love what June has done and I have always been a fan of this game, or any ex-SWC rival. We have been playing the Owls from the start, so the tradition is cool. Historically, we have had our way with these dudes, but of late, they have held their own. I look for a good old fashioned SWC shoot out today...SMU 40 something... Rice 20 something...GO PONIES, long live Duane Nutt!
