CUSA Bowl Selection Order
Does anyone know the definitive selection order for CUSA Bowls. This excerpt states what I have generally read from reputable sources:
"The league's champion - unless it's Houston and the Cougars go to a BCS game - heads to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, but after that there is not a set order of selection. The other bowls are the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl in St. Petersburg, Fla.; the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in Dallas, against BYU; the R+L Carrier New Orleans Bowl; the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl; and the TicketCity Bowl in Dallas"
Assuming the foregoing and UH going to BCS I predict:
CUSA vacates the lowest paying bowl(New Orleans) and the most expensive bowl to travel to since the CUSA shares expenses(Hawaii)-plus Hawaii pays very little.
Winner of ECU/Marshall to Beef of Brady to build attendance-definitely if ECU wins.
Liberty-Southern Miss
TicketCity and/or Armed Forces will choose between SMU and Tulsa. But which of these bowls gets first choice? Brittan Banowsky?

CUSA Bowl Selection Order
I thought you said the conference decided based upon its desires coupled with the potential draws and matchups? Seriously, I didn't think there was an order, just a plan to get the best turnouts and matchups they could. Do the bowls have a say?

Re: CUSA Bowl Selection Order
yeah that's my understanding. But who chooses between two Dallas Bowls? The excerpt is from a Marshall newspaper but I've read the exact same thing several times

Maybe DMN could post a poll to decide.

I wish they'd hurry so I could make travel plans to one of the two Dallas Bowls

I need to know how much gas to buy. And also when to not go to work.

in the old days the winning SWC fanbase would always chant:
Hey Hey Ho Ho
Look whose going to the Cotton Bowl(Stadium)

Re: CUSA Bowl Selection Order
Of course if Houston loses to Southern Miss:
Liberty Southern Miss
Beef o Brady: ECU or Marshall especially if ECU wins
Ticket City: I'm going with Houston
Armed Forces: Tulsa or SMU
Hawaii: SMU or Tulsa
so I guess since Tulsa went to Hawaii Bowl last year, SMU still possibly could end up in Hawaii again especially if Hawaii wins 2 more games. BTW I noticed Hawaii is starting their third string QB in his first start

Re: CUSA Bowl Selection Order
I honestly don't care which bowl Tulsa or smu play in
I like the cotton bowl but the atmosphere will be a letdown compared to sooner whorn and i think it will be empty
I'd rather Tulsa play byu bc I think it would be a better and more winnable game than Illinois or Ohio state
I'm going to both bowl games regardless
Go Tulsa

Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier
