we are fortunate that the defense played pretty stout today and the OL decided they weren't going to lose their final home game...their run blocking allowed those 2 FR to run for 200 yds. Not pretty, but we got the 7-5 that most predicted/expected/hoped for
have to hope JJ Mc can get healthy before the bowl game and plays his best game of the year...and that the wind doesn't blow that day

No he is not, he was recruited by SMU soccer, apparently he's very well known in soccer and is involved with FC Dallas. Though, being a former College kicker myself, I can say that the missed FG was not his fault. The snap was high, the hold was off. and the BLOCKING on the left side of the line was terrible. If he would have angled it to the left it woulda hit the rusher right in the hands. Its obvious he was trying to avoid the rush. That miss was on the snap, hold, and line.

Really? Thats real mature. Lets Bash on a kid who has been playing hurt all season and say he needs a psychologist. These are not professional athletes.

Being a former college kicker I can say that 34 namdar did well on his extra points he was 3/3 in his first game asked to do FG. His miss was not at all his fault, high snap, rush from the left, he kicked trying to avoid the rush.

My reply was only in reference to whether we had recruited from the soccer team. Thanks for the clarification. I agree the miss was more a snap problem than a kick problem.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand

I was a D1 college athlete, his body language was bad, he's had a rough go of things recently. I saw a sports psychologist while I was playing. There is no shame in it, they aren't there to help you get over embarrassing problems, they exist to help you be mentally tough. Alabama has one on the sidelines at most games and he's on their coaching staff. I would argue that the person who sees the psychologist is, in fact, more mature.
As for the kicking, conditions were bad but so were both the kicker and the punter. Just calling it like I see it. You are right about the miss because of the snap but the PAT miss was shameful.
New drinking game...every time Mustang101, or whatever his monkier is, says "being a former collegre kicker" ( BARRRF), you have to take a shot of Jameson...i am getting toasted...
