RICE POST GAME...SEVEN FOR THE SENIORS GOT DONE....THE GAME WAS EXACTLY WHAT JUNE TOLD OUR TEAM IT WOULD BE - HARD FOUGHT AND DOWN TO THE LAST POSSESION...RESPECT TO THE RICE PLAYERS AND COACHES...LEAVE TOMORROW TO SEE MY DAD WHO IS IN THE HOSPITAL THEN ON THE RECRUITING TRAIL...BOWL SELECTION COULD HAVE US ANYWHERE FROM THE 808 TO D.C....MATTERS NOT IT IS GREAT TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO PLAY A 13TH TIME...PONY UP!

No disrespect to Rice who played hard, but that game was MUCH closer than it should have been.

CUSA is the back-up/fill-in for the Military Bowl.
So yes, in theory, CUSA could send a team there because Navy (remember them) isn't bowl eligible.
