Players want to go to an out of town Bowl

Post by SMU 86 »

I think Cole Beasley represents many players on what he said and I think they deserve it.

Laken Litman tweet:
Asked if he had a bowl preference, senior WR Cole Beasley said: "Somewhere not in Dallas." #SMU was in Armed Forces last year & lost.
"We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Should be thankful to play in a bowl regardless of location. We don't deserve to [deleted] about where we play. Does this mean they'll lay down again this year if they stay in Dallas?

They should be grateful to play wherever we get slotted.
But JJ's buddies on the island didn't help them out by cratering the past few weeks.
Now they're pretty much guaranteed a Dallas bowl since CUSA has two local tie-ins.

We will lose whatever bowl we are in. This team has a whole lot of give up in them.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Yeah. They should be full of spunk and moxie.

Really? I would never say that about the defense. And today, the offense actually seemed to give a damn. Oline actually looked pumped up and ready to play.
Let's wait to see who we draw in the bowl before saying we'll lose.

Supposedly there is some horse trading going on to get LaTech in Ticket City Bowl

Might rather play BYU

After paying closer attention to some of the route-running today, I'm more and more convinced that it's not McJJ that has the give up in him, either. The INT he threw along the home sideline was NOT his fault...go back and watch the WR completely stop his route before the ball gets there.

What??? That makes zero sense. I can't imagine CUSA giving up a chance to play a Big10 team.

Well, Mustangs, we don't have much say in where we play at this point in time.........we just want coaches and players to get prepared to play whomever our opponent is because we want a great showing AND a victory!
