More like he knows he isn't going to be replaced b/c there's no one available.
Hopefully he gets healthy over the next month and powers us to a win.

Re: Official SMU-Rice Game Thread
FWIW,
Rice's QB is the toughest QB in the conference. He took a bunch of huge shots and played well the whole game.
Our O line has dropped off from the beginning of the year. Don't know if they are banged up but they are just not crisp like they were.
The wind was a beast if one was going into it. Really throttled our O in half when we were into it.
Our outside backers and Reed were beast. Reed was all over the field making plays and Sanders and Davis were very much on their rushing the passer game. Davis made a huge TFL by staying at home and using his athleticism. No doubt 4 years ago the Rice WR runs past anyone we have on the field playing outside backer. Davis is one strong athlete. Sanders will be our best backer in decades if he continues to develop.
We need our kissing disease kicker back.
Wimbley is a load that is dang near impossible to stop for no gain or a loss. Williams isn't far behind
As always, turnovers killed us. THis has been the story of the last two years. This game fumbles were worse than usual. That is the key to a better season. Less turnovers, a better year.
7-5 and for sure bowling. Great year for the Mustangs.
