Could Padron be a hardship waiver candidate?
Well, then ex is probably a lot better informed than me.
Just hadn't heard that version before. SDC was really fun to watch.

Re: Could Padron be a hardship waiver candidate?
Padron's parents have been at games? I have seen them at TCU, Tulane, UCF, NW ST, and UTEP....4 out of 6 home games? Who cares if they dont travel. Hell with the economy the way it is, I do not know the Padron's financial status, but who would want to spend the amount of money it would cost especially if your son ISNT even traveling??
THIS IS A FOOTBALL MESSAGE BOARD....not a family board. Talk about KP, his back issue, areas in which he needs to improve, but I think it is safe to say until one walk's in their families shoes, we do not have room to talk. Easy to say, "I would still come to every game, home and away." But would you really?
Your son or daughter gets unjustly pulled for a kid who throws 16 TD's and 16INT's in 1 year, and youre ok with that?? Safe to say A&M is the best team we played all year? Maybe aside from Southern MIss or Houston, still think A&M would compete with those guys, however, How many picks did JJ have in those games?? OK...its niehter here nor there but I think we should all leave the family, and the "classiness" of the family out of it...This just strengthens their case for not showing up if anything, who wants to watch the terrible football we've been playing, especially from the QB position, when you believe that your son should never have lost his job in the first place. Oh and not to mention, then have some alumni come onto a FOOTBALL message board and question their character....???
Get real! We do not know their situation, so we do not need to comment on it
BACK TO FOOTBALL
Glad we won, still got room to improve, it was cold as heck today in the second half! Wife made me leave with the kids! Glad I missed the 3rd quarter, and watched us escape in the 4th! What bowl game will we be going to??
Pony up!

Not Mr. Padron...
But I do not think it is right for US to comment on their character as most of us do not know them as individuals...
Everybody wants to comment on KP's character and his leadership....Where do you think KP received those traits? More than likely his parents...Never met them, but I am sure they are great people.
Funny how someone on here, myself, along with many others, can come to the backing of a family and get classified as being a family member? Can I call you Mr. McDermott??
I personally just dont think its right to attack a family, talk about a players girlfriend etc....
This is a football message board, nothing else
Pony Up
P.S. I thought KP's parents werent at the game? As stated...I was at the game!

ESandersfan: don't waste time with friarwolf. he's a proverbial troll. always an instigator. wanna-bes like him stealing oxygen have nothing better to do. I agree with you completely. Don't like a post, must be a family member.

Re: Could Padron be a hardship waiver candidate?
Esandersfan, totally agree with everything you standing for. Families should be left out of the message board. They dont change the course of the game or our future. If your son isnt playing or possibly never going to play then the parents do not have to show up. They can watch it on tv if they want. Padron should have not been taken out so easily or at least not given a chance on 3rd and 4th quarters when we were up in memphis and NWST... Maybe even UCF just to make him feel hes part of the team. Instead they abandon him and he probably taking out his frustration got injured. Im hoping he stays but with Gilbert (if playing next season) coming in he might feel threaten to have a very short leash again.
Also there are alot of idiots and a$$holes... its probably McDermott's butt buddy.

Re: Could Padron be a hardship waiver candidate?
Heard that KP was out on White Rock. Something went wrong and he had to climb the mast to adjust the sail. He fell, but only hurt his back in the fall. Most thought that he should have died in the fall, but he was used to hard ships.

NP man, Ive been dogpiled on here several times, but its all good now. It does suck when your opinion gets attacked.
I imagine we are all Pony Fans in some ways, and we all have different approaches and viewpoints. We just need to respect them and look at each issue from different point of view. Its really up to bowl selection people, Im sure TicketCity and Armed Forces are bidding or debating for us to play since we are local. If somehow some miracle Hawaii beats BYU then we will end up getting pushed for that bowl. I think we all find out the week after the championship game Dec 3.
