Good find.
But reading about all that horse-trading makes my head hurt.

Wow. thats just terrible.

Liberty Bowl for Legion Field.
Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

Makes a lot of sense for Southern Miss fans. Other than Beale street Memphis and Birmingham are pretty similar towns.

Do you think CUSA teams other than Houston who are "rumored" goiing to BE will get a less atractive bowl as punishment?

Ah yes, beautiful B'ham. Sounds like the perfect place for a Rice, Tulane or a Tulsa to play.

Sorry have to disagree...Memphis is WAY better of a fun town than Birmingham....tourism numbers will verify that. Elvis knew.......sucks to go to B'ham.

I would have to disagree. I have been to Birmingham on business several times over the last few years, and enjoyed it. Nice hotels, good music to be found in some local bars, damn good food in a few places. (Not saying it's better than Memphis, where I have never been. Just saying Birmingham should not be written off as an unattractive destination.)

I'd prefer Birmingham to Hawaii. Not as scenic, but a heck of a lot cheaper.

I take almost any bowl over hawaii bowl. Either one sounds interesting.

When all is said and done Birmingham is a mill town but without the history, sightseeing and diversity of post industrial Pittsburg. Memphis has its problems is not to be put behind Birmingham.
