Its not unusual for a school in SMU's position to lose 4 even 5 top commitments-luckily hasn't happened to SMU to that degree but it has happened to TCU, UH, Tulsa and Southern Miss in recent years. That's how recruit-ball go. Got to be in position to replace them with somebody better. Recruit to the finish line. Oh yea aka The Ace in the Hole theory of recruiting

if you are recruiting at a higher level you will lose some. It is a good sign that we are making progress when we lose a couple - sort of like when we start showing up on the police blotter - that means you are getting better athletes.

Nice guys with no other choices has been tried. It doesn't work.

lol, I sincerely hope the staff doesn't use even one suggestion in this thread w/regards to entertaining these kids. I know nothing of football visits, but hoops visits are no holds barred
