My first SMU game as a student was the 2002 fiasco against Navy. So many signs in that game of what I was in for as a fan....

My high school team sucked, and SMU was 0-12 my senior year. Things are obviously getting better but I agree with the PTSD sentiment about the 2nd half of this season.

Keeping Coach Klemm has to be a huge priority. I don't know if it would require a raise or a new title or some assurance about promotions, etc.

Coaches come and go, and if he leaves, he'll be replaced. But getting rid of any coach in any sport is only a good thing if the replacement is better, and when recruiting is taken into account, finding a better coach to replace Klemm would be awfully difficult.

Do whatever is necessary, Steve-O, to keep Coach Klemm.

I agree with the sentiments here, but we should also realize that Klemm was an unknown before June called him and asked him to come here as a GA. He's only been a paid coach for three years. Just sayin. He is benefitting from a lot of experience surrounding him.

Now, let's do whatever we can to groom him into the next big thing.
