That would be great but I would rather play Ohio St.

I feel for TCU playing La Tech. From the Rose bowl and the Big X+ II Champ to the WAC champ. Man, the extremes of college football.

I would love any Dallas Bowl (and I need to start making plans so need to know which one). Hawaii would probably be best for the kids.

I would think Tulsa gets the Ticket City bowl, though.

Tulsa fans don't travel- why waste a good bowl game on a partially filled stadium.
Let them play in Ford and play BYU. We will do better playing a Purdue or Ohio St. and that would draw far more interest nationally than a ho-hum tulsa vs. ?.

ESPNU at 11 oclock. All while Ohio State v Florida, South Carolina v Nebraska, and Michigan State v Georgia will be on. Welcome to the last tv rated bowl game.

Ah, but isn't it nice to have ratings to complain about.....

Still tremendously better than playing a WAC opponent in Hawaii or the AFB against BYU at 11 am on a Friday...

Amen to that. There are so many things to like about this. In the Cotton Bowl on the day the New Years Bowls are played (Monday, since the 1st is on a Sunday). Against a Big 10 team. A winnable game against a BCS school.

I really hope this happens. The prospect of playing a bowl game back in the cotton bowl is pretty damn good.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

...maybe not until Sunday morning when Hawaii Bowl is determined-but looking at this I get a strong sense that it is SMU v Purdue or SMU v Hawaii. Unfortunately, OSU and Iowa will be gone.

Empty Cotton Bowl, early start, likely to be cold as hell outside, plenty of better games on that day and there's a strong likelihood that an apathetic SMU team takes the field. Why do people want us in this bowl again?
