Our SMU Band

Post by ponyfan777 »

My 1st SMU game was back in 1978 and I remember thinking at the game how cool the band looked and sounded. The SMU Band is always there, but never gets enough credit for all they do. IF you agree, then say something good about The Best Dressed Band In The Land!

Go Ponies~

OMG, this just reminded me. I can't wait to hear we're going to the Hawaii bowl and everyone can flip out how the school isn't sending the band.

Even Craig James says nice things about them. That's how good the Mustang Band is

will we have the funds for them to play at the AFB or Ticketcity? you know, they will have to report back to school early, but not be allowed to access dorm rooms, forcing many of them to get hotel rooms on their own dime, or even worse, crash on a buddy's couch (AAHHH - never did that in college :) )

the horror they must suffer through.

I can already hear the official switching on his mic with wayy too much feedback.

"prior to the snap...."

so redundant. if it's after the snap, it's not offsides OR a false start (in that case, it's just a start, right?)

They can call it without saying "prior to the snap" if the center doesn't snap the ball.

You can definitely have an offsides penalty that isn't prior to the snap. After all, being in the neutral zone at the snap is offsides.
