No one did, it's one of those rare unfathomable scenarios like the 2 loss champion from 2007.

It's written into the rules that way, so someone had to have seen it as a possibility. Still, if LSU loses, it goes to the voters, and voters have done some weird things on the final ballots before to try to shuffle the rankings. If LSU lost and somehow fell to #3, they would be out of the BCS and end up in the Cotton Bowl.

they won't be out of the top 3. it will be viewed as a fluke. at MOST they would drop to 2, but i don't even see that happening.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Okay the Little Caesars Bowl is the #8 Bowl Game to select a B1G team, #8, IE last if the BCS only takes one B1G team to the Rose Bowl, Purdue would likely Drop a spot, to Motown because the Bowls would have the option of selecting Michigan, but that wouldn't KEEP the TCB from picking Purdue if they wanted them.

It might help you to actually read the thread and look at pictures. Plus, many people are aware of the Rice-Purdue game.
Thanks for joining the conversation...
