Didn't notice this until today, but TCU plays OU next Sept.Hello everyone. I am an SMU alumnus. I am now at O.U. doing my masters degree. So, love it or hate it, I will sing varsity and boomer sooner on any given day. That out of the way, being an SMU and OU season ticket holder, I was checking the schedules out for next year. I was suprised to have just now noticed that TCU plays O.U. on Sept. 3rd in Norman. That should be a nice thumping for them.
That is the week before they play us. I think that will be good for us. They will not have a cupcake warm-up before they play us.

Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Not sure it is good - probably neutral. They will not want to start 0 & 2, so they will have extra motivation, not that with SMU/TCU it really matters. They do not even view us as a rival at the moment - we will have to win to earn it again.
Re:
I am afraid that right now TCU considers us the "cupcake" they are playing before their 3rd game. Hopefully we will turn that around next year.
I do however hope that OU hangs 80 on them. That would warm my heart. Of course having Northwestern put 40+ on them didn't seem to slow them down against us. This is one game, Bennett had better put a red circle around. Beating Baylor and the Frogs will mean that we have improved significantly under his watch. Losing badly to either of them, will signal that we have regressed and he has had a chance to right the ship and didn't get it done.
Remember...there will be a lot of returning Mustangs who have now lost to TCU as sophomores and juniors. It's revenge time for them as seniors! We're playing at Ford Stadium. Mustangs will triumph! BEAT THE HELL OUTTA TCU!
