Here's why it happened:

Fast and physical beat fast and will do every time out barring turnovers. That USM secondary is pretty stinking good and when they punched the UH receivers in the mouth, those guys back down.

That's why I liked USM's chances.

We saw when we played UH that our defense stayed and played to win that game. Our offense stunk and kept them on the field too long before they collapsed.

UH finally played a strong team and doesn't have an answer apparently.
