Anyone know how many we're going to give? With normal attrition and graduation, I would guess somewhere around 20. Am I close?

Al, how many of the 22 will go to these "recruited" walkons?

Also, any word on JUCO's coming in (Jan)for spring????

It is nice to have our full scholarship allotment this year. What a lot of ponfans have forgotten, is that we had scholarship cuts after the Malin(?)/Cavan scheme to send a ringer in to take the SAT's for a recruit. This is the first year that we can give our full allotment of scholarships, it should help.
Just send 'da money.

I don't think it will be a full allotment of 25. I think the 20-22 proposed here is more accurate, based on the number of graduating seniors.

what's smu's policy about revoking scholarships now days?

i know some if not all schools pull scholarships for under-performance, etc. which was our policy before the DP days -

then i read where we changed it to 'guarantee' scholarships or whatever you want to describe it -

but like most endeavors, many players get lazy - much like the 'tenure' system & your stuck with them - (had to throw that one in)

never hurts to burn a fire under an employee or player if he's not producing -

anyone know our policy these days?
