I'm appreciative for any bowl game. However, this one sucks. No one will watch it and St Pete? Better to have been in Hawaii on Xmas eve primetime. Of course, Rose Bowl is preferred. Next year, ok, 'Stangs? ;-)

Agreed, this bowl is now on the level of the New Orleans Bowl with the involvement of a Sun Belt team.

If its the best bowl we could get then I'm fine with it-but if it leaks that we begged out of a better bowl to go on Vacation then this ain't going to be pretty

I went to the St. Petersburg bowl two years ago when UCF played Rutgers. There is a lot of fun pub crawling that can be done before the game that is close to the Rays Stadium and the Vinoy Hotel. Besides Florida in December is amazing!Fun times and I am glad that SMU will be close to home for me! Can't wait to cheer them on!
