McD's play wasn't anything great before he got hurt, he was still immobile and inaccurate. Once we ran into better opponents he got exposed. Padron's numbers this year when he was healthy; 9/20 3 Ints. Maybe we would have beaten Navy with him but not any of our better opponents.

Not much of a sample to evaluate Padron's performance. Basically, 2 series against A&M (2 picks), and mop up time against NW St with a before the half Hail Mary play our idiot coach called for. Last year's numbers are more representative. I know you are a Padron hater and I don't know why I bother. However, I feel you skew stats to fit your argument at times. Whatever. His season last year wasn't the greatest, but it was the best single season passing stats of any SMU QB in history. Hard to argue against Lance's won-loss record.
