It would all depend on how coach Diva handles it - if he's still here. And for you to narrow the Jones critics to only 3 is inaccurate. Go read some of the comments on Reinbolds Saturday AM thread and they are there and echoing my arguments against Jones for the last two years.
And if he leaves and the class imploded it would be because these guys loosely put together this group bc the Texas base wasn't established and the successor basically has to start over.

Here is his problem - he hasnt done enough to prove he walks on water here, and the schedule for next year looks like it wont help - so if he doesnt jump now he renegotiates his contract from point of weakness - but immediately after that we should be poised to do some pretty fun things with improved everything in the B.E. If he leaves, this job is VERY attractive for the next guy. Would prefer not this year since we would be coming into a busy new coach season on the late side.
Hope he stays, starts acting like a Texan (or at least loses the lei) inserts a sideline play calling system, starts managing his clock better, doesnt lose his mind as much on 3rd and 1, and decides to throw a birthday party for Peruna.

Adrian klemm should be hired immediately if jj leaves. Keeps recruiting class. Extra money allows for top assistants, and put him on short leash.

I like Klemm but he can't be handed the HC job right now, 3 years coaching experience (none of it as a coordinator), we can't hand the job to a novice if we want to keep moving forward. June goes, Klemm goes.

There's no June Jones out there for us this time, getting a sitting AQ coach isn't happening and if we go back to the mid-major well we won't land a proven commodity.

This year with all the openings at high level schools we would probably not get a splash proven head coach hire. We are fighting with Ole Miss, Penn State, Illinois, UCLA, North Carolina, and such. Not to Mention Miss State if Mullen goes to Penn St.
