ECM, I don't think it is hate just some are offended at how this was handle. I think most of us want June here (including Nick) but were just taken back at how this was handle that's all. And I think you are on target about Fedora.

I want jj here if he is going to embrace the school paying him an astronomical amount of money to be average.
I don't want any calling of other programs to leverage raises for jj or assistants who don't deserve it.
I don't want to be told we can't do any better, because I have watched tcu and Baylor build bcs programs, and we are a better school than both combined.
I don't want anymore bullshti which is pretty much jj's whole identity

So were going off a Rivals report? From the same site that said we were in serious discussions with the SEC? Not sure how much credibility I give PonyPride after that stunt they pulled.
Look, those sites make their money by sensationalizing things and making them seem bigger than they are. More controversy= more readers= more $$. you can't believe everything you read.

Well, enlighten me. If JJ leaves I'm all for trying to keep Klemm and this class intact, but I think he's on the next plane to Phoenix if JJ takes the ASU job.
Not even...Klemm sells SMU well and have heard how he pitches SMU and not necessarily just June. I am not going to go there ( be happy to PM you) but maybe you think Klemm may be a little perturbed that these kids that he sold on SMU and have them visit here (not to mention they trust Klemm) and June decides to meet with ASU while they arrive in town. Not good karma.
To me, it is obvious that he wants to go to ASU. Otherwise he would not of screwed up this important SMU recruiting week end so bad. He appears to be recruiting for someone else now. However, I'm not sure he expected the negative response, from the ASU fan base, that has been the case over the idea of hiring Jones there. I certainly lost a lot of respect for the man regardless because this was such a great recruiting week end here. There is no way he would have done this to his own program, if he didn't think he had the ASU job.

I know we're not ending up with anyone better than June. And the next coach won't be anymore loyal to SMU.

Dude its not Rivals, we all can discuss what we/they know only on a private site. The SEC deal was a mistake that was apologized for.

I think klemm and mason would be better than jj. At least they want to work hard and not just collect checks...

Pass the bong... Klemm is going to come in as HC (nevermind he was a volunteer coach as recent as 08) and lead us to the promised land- 10-win seasons followed by BCS bowls followed by a Big 12 invite- which we decline only to subsequently join the new 16-team SEC. It's all happening now.
