Does Jan 7 game mean more practice time or same?

more time for injuries to heal at least. maybe more time to find a new coach before the game. I kid. JJ will be here for 10 more years.

There is practice time, of which there will be 13 and then there are those "voluntary workouts."

Players should have unofficial practices without mandate from coaches, and coaches should just happen to show up... haha jk

Same practice time officially. But....

- More time to heal
- More time with redshirts
- Any freshmen we have coming in a semester early might actually get to practice with the team - Coaches can get 'eyes on' early and have a head start for spring

For those coaches that approach bowls partially as a way to prepare for next year, it's a minor, minor head start on other programs
