No kidding. You think YOU hate them? Try living in Austin. Ugh.

Mack Brown is a sensational recruiter who must have more charisma than anyone on the planet - how he keeps getting raises without ever having won a CONFERENCE championship is beyond me. I was among those who thought OU shouldn't have had a chance at the national championship last year because they weren't able to win their conference crown. That's the way I feel this year, too. There's no reason never-better-than-#2-in-the-Big-12 Texas should get BCS money. I didn't like it last year with OU, and I don't like it this year. And I have to live among these "Horns are the greatest" nitwits.

I'm wearing a Michigan hat or shirt every day from now until the Rose Bowl. Go Wolverines.

yeah well Mack Brown has something like the third best winning percentage of all active NCAA coaches in the last 10 years. That would put him in the top 97- 98% of all programs in the US. Guess those national championships in February mean something after all.

Yup -- they mean he can recruit. That's it.

He has yet to prove he can coach all that talent.

Can you imagine what Bob Stoops would have done with that talent? Hell, (it hurts to even write this) Dennis Franchione would have a national title or two under his belt with the rosters Mack has had in Austin.

yeah I know exactly what he'd do-lose to OSU twice, get embarrassed by Kansas St., upset by the Aggies and then clobbered in the National Cha,pionship. Arguably, Stoops has blown a growing series of championships himself and generally against weaker opponents than UT losing to OU. BTW the recruiting talent between UT and OU has been even or in OUs favor for many years now, Texas' recruiting success has been overblown somewhat although they probably did win 2 mythical recruiting championships in the last 6 years-OU has enjoyed the same success.
