Give Klemm the Job if June leaves?

SO, you have a hot commodity on your hands well 2 hot commodities, because your HC is a hot commodity as well, SHOULD SMU spend a lot of time and money searching for a new HC? Maybe hire Ron Zook or Mike Martz or maybe even bring Norv Turner or Dave Wansteadt (sp) back to Big D? I mean if there is a hot commodity under your own roof, that recruited the kids that are already there, seems to me like y'all might want to keep him. Hell I bet this wouldn't even tick June off at all. You have a team, you want a program. First step to having a program is continuity. Keep what you have as much as you can and build. Klemm Might make a few changes but he played for Bill Belichek I'm pretty sure that he knows that winning is about doing what you can with what you have. Why wildly revamp [deleted]. Everybody has to get a first chance at some point, if you have a guy that might very well be the NEXT GUY, why in the hell let somebody else figure it out?

I'd rather have proven name coach who can hire several recruiters. Would love to retain Klemm however.

Maybe I'm an idiot but I think Dave Wannstedt would be a very good hire. Also wouldn't mind Ron Zook. Both proven recruiters.

Jim Tressel isn't the worst idea I've heard. And he wouldn't wear a black sweatervest. Doubt RGT would take a chance on him after the NCAA issues though

Tressel lied to the NCAA on multiple occasions. I'm not sure we want that here considering our past.

Regardless, I hope SMU offers Klemm a huge pay increase, even if he is not retained as the HC.

If he declines, which I suspect he would, at least we have significantly raised his market value, which would be a nice FU gift to ASU.
