Almost didn't answer but did and I got to speak to Kelvin Beachum. Told him how proud we are of him and how many of us are heading to see him at the game. Told him I know of 15 people going and he seemed excited and surprised at the same time. Said he is very happy we have very loyal fans but would like to see more. Said it is people like him that more fans will come.

Got the same call. I actually increased my donation - spoke to a women's golfer and impressed me relative to how truly appreciative they are. Nice reminder of why this board and so many other things exist - the STUDENT-ATHLETE.

this. i just got a call from Blake McJunkin. what a good guy...he came off as genuinely appreciative and we had a nice chat. told him i was at the 83 cotton bowl against Pitt, etc. (old man stories he probably yawned at but that's ok). i will increase my donation because of this call and i will definitely be at the bowl game.

Mine came from a young lady on the rowing team. She left a message that she laughed all the way through. Think she thanked me for my contribution. Couldn't really tell.
