2012: The year of the Tank Job

Post by Mitch McConnell »

You've already had the head coach of SMU describe the prospects as not promising for whatever reasons he can think of.

The so-called demands that he is making are bogus because they are likely going to happen anyway should the BE inclusion arrive like what is being reported.

And if he's here, you're going to see an increase whining, excuse making over this and that and everything else. It's going to be a mess. He's going to cause a major rift between athletics and administration.

The recruiting for the 2013 class could potentially take a big hit because there will not be the groundwork to build the class.

I would hope that behind the scenes the powers that be force June's hand earlier than he wants and come to a parting and have a plan to replace him. The sooner the better.

I've had enough of his BS manipulation. He doesn't care about SMU. He doesn't embrace anything regarding this university. He doesn't work very hard. He's treats people who aren't of value to him like trash.

If he doesn't want to be here, then find a way to meet that demand.

And to be honest with you, I don't have a problem starting over because I was a part of the major start over as a student in 1989. At this point, we have nothing to lose.

This business has to stop.

On the tapatalk app for iPhone, how do I block somebody's posts? I am tired of this BS.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

We are in year 4 of the Mitch McConnell "I don't like June" joke series. I get he wants us to play Big 10-11-12 style football, but aside from the lack of socks and the lei, nearly every one of his complaints can be applied to between 50-75% of the coaches in the country.

BAHAHAHAHA . . . Mitch calling someone else out for whining in his whining thread. Laughable.

I just want to know how anyone can defend June and have a clear conscience doing it.

If you can't see through this, then maybe some of you are just that desperate to win and will sell your soul to do it.

I won't.

Clear conscience?

What is this moral failing that I am unaware of?

Alright then, now we know. The general is down for having a brief respite of success once every 30 years or so and sucking for the rest of the time. You can call yourself an SMU alum, but can't really say you want what's good for SMU. Too bad you missed out on those soccer homecoming games.

If the circle of champions want him gone, then he's going to be gone. He has done too much good ffor this program to be a pariah.

I continue to agree with you on this.

Show me a coach that doesn't rub some people the wrong way and I will show you a bad coach.

I have worked with and for plenty of a-holes, that doesn't make me a bad person.

All coaches are "whores." It is like the old joke: the guy asks the girl at the bar, "Would you sleep with me for $1,000,000?" she say, "Yes." "Would you sleep with me for $50?". She says, "What kind of girl do you think I am?". His response: "We have already established what you are, miss; now we are just negotiating the price."
