Don't have any concerns about Aldridge moving to a new position this year. He and his teammates are brimming with confidence about his progress after moving from LB to DE. Every player I've talked to -- defensive players who worked with him in the spring and offensive players who had to go against him in the spring -- say Kevin is going to be a major force for the Ponies this season.

The Ends are going to be the powerhouse of the D-line this year. Pratt, Aldridge, Hrncir, Patman, and Helmey. That is depth.

Saw Helmey yesterday on the intramural field at Media Day. Kid looks strong as a bull.

Also saw (walk-on) OL Brandon Luter. 6-5, 350, and one of the assistant coaches said he has pretty good feet and mobility. Could be a huge (pardon the pun) bonus for us!
