Why is Gruden seen as being so far above us? He has been out of the game for several years as a coach. Maybe he wants to get back in. All I'm saying is why not test the waters. If he says no then we can resort to Fran, John Macovick, Todd Dodge or any of the other losers you guys feel we deserve.

If he wanted to get back into coaching, he has significantly better opportunities than SMU
