Time to bring back Ron Meyer.
Best thing to ever happen to SMU. Clearly recruiting violations mean nothing now days. Bring bac Ron Meyer and pick up where he left off.

There was a great article some of you have seen when Meyer quit. Something to the effect that Ron Meyer was a tragedy because as driven and talented as he was at Coaching, leadership and charisma he didn't have to cheat to succeed-it would have taken him a little longer but he had everyuthing he needed to be a great College Head Coach. The NFL game shorten his career. He would have lasted a long time in bCollege Football because he had all the qualities to be a great one-except integrity.

Would be an interesting move.
Not counting on it happening, but he loves SMU. No doubt about that.

Man, what would have been. How many good college coaches screwed up their careers by taking a shot at the NFL? Not that he had a bad career.
