I mentioned before if JJ finally leaves look to Rossley or Flannigan type who embrace some of the school and actually would recruit Texas. I agree Rossley has flaws and may not be best hire, but I still think you look at incorporating Flannigan somehow in the new group.

Not necessarily as an OC, but perhaps as director of on-campus recruiting, receivers coach, something. He is young enough to relate to the players, recruited Texas before, and is an SMU guy. Plus I think with what we have now on roster you have to run some sort of passing offense until you can get your type of players in here to make a transition.

If we are just stepping stone anyway, lets at least get some SMU people in on this next time in some capacity. I think that alone would help some PR wise with potential donors, alumni and fans.
