Let's predict June's driveby dressdown of SMU
Like he did at Hawaii, I'll bet June says something like "here's whats wrong with that place, and the only way to fix it was if I left"
Will it be akin to Tommy West's farewell presser at Memphis?
Will he say like PB that "all his friends told him" not to take this job?
Will he [deleted] about attendance?
Will he [deleted] about pf.com?
What'll it be?

Running down SMU after the fact is a tradition for departing coaches.

I think you covered it, but the flip side, we wanted him, ASU fans do not. No one will be thearing about those things because they will be covering the reaction.

Oh he better not!
But you're right, he'll find something to [deleted] about and give as an excuse for leaving, even though we've given him almost EVERYTHING he's ever wanted

Except a sellout home game.

There will definitely be subtle jabs about fan support and the administration. Don't expect a full out flaming though.

"Except a sellout home game."
He got 2 of those in 2010. The Ponies lost both.

We gave him one, TCU.
Didn't he say he wanted to retire here? What did he expect on attendance, and it is not like he did much to improve our attendance problems.

TCU was a sellout, and the afb though not technically a home game.

Re: Let's predict June's driveby dressdown of SMU
He'll have nothing but good things to say about SMU, as he should.
Hawaii - or rather, the screwed up AD who got fired after he let June get away - gave him no help, no resources, paid him a fraction of what he was worth, and didn't even approach him about a contract extention when he was going undefeated.
SMU, on the other hand, gave him an NFL-level salary, state-of-the-art facilities, a much bigger budget, had natural geographic recruiting advantages, and even gave him his own personnel ad on "Pony Excess."
SMU held their end of the deal up, as he did. But all good things must come to an end.

He held up his end of the deal, except for honoring that contract extension he signed. just details though. who needs them.
