Sympathy to Mrydel

Postby MrMustang1965 » Thu Dec 09, 2004 5:11 pm

Sending out condolences and sympathy to ponyfans poster mrydel on his father's passing last night. His father loved SMU very much and he'll be missed as part of the Mustang family.

That brings a dose of perspective to the discussion today, I think. Mrydel, you and your family are in my thoughts.
Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!

I know there is little I can do or say to assuage the grief you mrydel most feel. Please know that my thoughts, prays and deepest sympathies are with you. If I can be of any service during this time, please contact me. Once again, mrydel, please accept my deepest sympathies.

Thanks to all for your sympathy. Ponyte, wish you could have used your medical prowess to help, but time had come and nothng could be done. Dad loved SMU. When I was being recruited, he told me that he expected me to take a scholarship wherever I could, unless SMU did not offer and he would pay my way there. He had attended some night school classes after WWII and watched Doak and others and knew that it was one of the finest Universities in the world. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
