Why of all places ASU or any of those schools above. This school provide the most opportunity to be good at a position. We are a growth team, and would produce the highest returns for an individual player.East Coast Mustang wrote:He'd never even visited here and had offers from Arizona, NC State, and West Virginia. This isn't shocking.

Re: Player Decommits
I am still concerned with recruits since it looks like JJ will be gone after the 2012 year, if it is true the buy out is no longer in effect. Who wants to commit when the coach you want to play for is gone after a year?

Re: Player Decommits
Only solution is keep JJ around and act like its long term, and then when timing is right and the right person comes around who has recruits following him, start the bidding for that guy. Its so much better getting an up and coming soon to be popular coach. Yes it might take a hit 2013, 2014, but round it 2015 we will be on track and pushing further.
On a side note, despite losing guys, we are still number 1 according to Rivals in CUSA. Right now we need to be ahead of .500 of BE schools. Which right now average star wise, we would still be in top 1/3 which is fine especially after this debacle.
