Check out today's Park Cities People for a pretty no-nonsense commentary from coach Bennett. Usually coaches tend to blow a lot of smoke and sugarcoat the situation in an interview. One of the better interviews I've read in awhile.

Gotta love the way Coach looks at things - filling Ford Stadium at every game and chowing down on little froggie legs!!!!

I couldn't find any commentary/interview from Bennett in the online edition of todays paper, only the profile noted above....is the online edition an abreviate version?

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Page 5 of the print version. I'll bring it to the scrimmage if you can't find it before then.

That's awesome. Didn't know Coach was born in California - thought he was a born-and-bred Texan.
Props to you, Coach. Never too early to start running a little smack toward Fort Worthless. Now go kick their tails so we can talk even more smack.
