Maybe it really went down the way he says and we are all terrible people for hating on him.

[b][u]Jones said he absolutely does not have to mend fences at SMU
This is partially the attitude I despise

Certainly suggests he is OK with the "people that matter" and they with him.
just have to hope our general fan base doesn't react like so many on this board who now appear ready to boycott the program
too many folks acting like the proverbial "woman spurned"

Even the husband buys the spurned woman some flowers, chocolates and wine - maybe even some shiny jewelry.
JJ screwed us over and is telling us it didn't happen and to get over it.

I am probably the only person that will drop out of SMU football the MC and donations. But it is in fact a direct response to June Jones, his attitude and the events that have happened .
SMU won't miss my cash but they will miss my attendance.

It never ceases to amaze me how there are always a few people on here who could have a bird fly over and $h!t on their shoulder, but try to convince everyone else on here with great conviction that it is simply chocolate they were planning on saving for later.

Have 4 season tickets in Stadium club and 4 season tickets in floor level b-ball. Will give up football and concentrate on basketball. No major donation to MC so i lose my football tickets - who cares, i dont anymore.

Shoot-why would any long term SMU supporter drop out now-seems more like we've been released from lifetime jail sentence due to previously undisclosed DNA evidence-with or without Jones. We just got the luckiest break in the History of the Program since a fledgling university was asked to join the SWC. We just joined a BCS Conference where every other school in the conference averages at least 50% more in attendance.

Liar, liar, liar.
Re: New JJ Statements - B'ham Media
I agree with Stallion-SMU football will still be a more attractive program in the future than it has been since the DP-if and when Jones leaves it will still be in better shape than when he arrived. Why bail now-don't let Jones have that much power over whether or not you support SMU football.
