Nice spin for those who don't follow the program.
Those who do know what's actually going on.

Nice to see they gave Jones credit for turning around Hawaii and SMU. And he did it at SMU in stellar fashion. 3 bowl games and three winning seasons after decades of futility. Thanks for posting.

"I was kind of not privy to all that, whether it was going to happen or not. I never got the call that it was going to happen," Jones said. "So I wish Arizona State well, and we're going to do well."
Oh ok

we can fight all we want in house. But we should put up a united front for fans and recruits.

We are the fans and I suspect that many will boycott next year. No action= no fans.

Is SMU happy with JJ? A resounding no. Fire this clown and put someone in that wants to be at SMU.

I'm not working my self up about him accepting the ASU job, but how can he reconcile calling assistants off the recruiting road with not knowing what was going on? ! ? What about the alleged phone call to the outgoing ASU Coach Dennis Erickson evaluating ASU's recruiting class. What about his own attorney's tweet that deal was all but done but for some last minute minor tweeks
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

All of this I agree with. I would add Thomas Brown, who was reportedly down to SMU and Nebraska. Is told not to come on the recruiting trip to SMU, commits to ASU a couple days ago, and now de-commits from them and commits to Nebraska. Super shady, IMO.

Im an anti-ESPN guy, they kind of killed my possible fanship of them. They always discount small teams, or any league that tries to better themselves. I think alot of their sportcasters are unqualified. I love how the ESPN-Dallas, puts less articles about us than Bevo Corp. I mean I can understand if they dont want to talk about college football, but all the Big 12 teams are not Dallas' team. SMU is, and their lack of comments will make people care less and less about ESPN. I love Fox Sports SW. I really wish they cut some of their other programming to have a sportscast to talk about all the sports and compete with ESPN. We all know that ESPN wishes it could be a monopoly so they can change whatever they want.
