Is it time to get over it and get behind June?

Post by SMU1523 »

I feel our only choice is to get behind June. I think we need to show our commitment to SMU and get our butts and other people's butts in the stadium. Im still pissed off about the ordeal, but at the end of the day, I want to win. Right now, I feel like June is still the man to take us to the next level.

I wish Jerry Sandusky got behind June Jones. See how he likes it.

I guess we're not all to the forgiveness stage...

Yes, it's time to get over it.

This stuff happens all the time, coaches interview for better jobs and want to leave and don't end up getting them. Usually, to save face, they say they're happy where they're at or they're "withdrawing their name from consideration," where in fact, they would've bolted. JJ got effed by ASU because they pulled his offer- making this a much stickier situation.

Let's see if he's really committed to SMU football, get the team ready for the bowl (no more zombie bs) and close out this 2012 recruiting class on a positive note.

I support June again, but I don't know if I'm ready to throw back up the Colt Brennan 15 in SMU colors avatar just yet...

he just wanted an excuse to say [deleted].

But yea, Steinberg handled this incredibly unprofessionally- and then whined like a little [deleted] when things didn't go his way. Good thing for him he and JJ are such close friends...and that he has a bazillion dollars. I guess that helps too.
