I suspect that packing Ford this year is going to be even more challenging after his fiasco and blatant arrogance. I don't blame any fan for not returning until he is gone. I feel for the players as they get hurt more than he does. Seems like Mustang Mania in reverse. Only positive might be if we are practically undefeated about 3/4 through the season.

A lot more students read the Daily Campus than people think. Class is boring. The sports section is an extremely badly written section of an extremely badly written paper, but the basics get conveyed. Stuff like this is going to affect the somewhat resurgent student section there was this year. No more red/blue chants across the stadium.
Wrong, I think. Get A&M/TCU at Ford and the students will be there...for the first half at least. Time heals all wounds. We'll all be bored as [deleted] with baseball and ready to see the lei on the sideline again too

June should get the demands that best helps SMU, especially recruiting people to SMU not JJ... IPF is a big sell to recruits to show the admins commit to a better team.... the one thing for certain JJ wont get is fans... I wouldnt be surprise that we lose the bowl game and the season opener at home, like 15k people show up.
Also I personally dont know the academic standards, but we need to lower them to the point where it doesnt hurt the school as much but can get us the best potential recruit. Like I have said in the past, we can raise the standards once we have a strong foundation. Right now anything that keeps recruits elilgable is required.
