Cant wait to see how they rotate in the eastern teams with our "western" grouping. Would be fun to get Rutgers away in year one and get some Stangs in NY for a weekend. Also - doesnt Notre Dame rotate to two B.E. teams on the schedule each year? Would be nice to have them rotate to the bigger cities new to B.E. first (Dallas and Houston).
Also REALLY cant wait to see what the basketball schedule looks like. Any hard dates on when the Moody renovation starts? - I assume we are shooting for opening the building with the 2013 basketball schedule. Fun to see a Georgetown/SMU NCAA tourny rematch open B.E. basketball play?

Re: 2013 Schedule
It will be enjoyable and I hope that we come in guns blazing. It would be nice to get the BE championship before anyone decides to take it away. I know its hard to even consider us making it there, but it should be the main objective. The worst part is that we are going to need to study Boise St. and Houston. The two new additions are easily going to be the hardest competitors. The West division will at least in the long term be the toughest by far.
Basketball, expect beat downs, but hopefully with the money and advertising that we are playing the best teams in the country. We can get legit recruits. All we need is 3 really good BB players and we can make some waves.

The beauty of hoops is it only takes one GREAT player.

Re: 2013 Schedule
Re: hoops. We already have multiple 4 star recruits on our roster. Multiple guys who were BE offerees. And multiple guys who were top 100 in the nation in their recruiting class (we may even have 4 of such players if I remember correctly, although only 1 has already suited up). Hoops is closer than many people realize to recruiting at a BE level.

ND schedules those games separately from the league. I believe they have deals with Syracuse and UConn but they aren't playing everyone in the conference.
I'm most looking forward to games in San Diego, however SMU will have their hands full as you can't count on having UAB or Memphis as a conference game!
