I'm not happy about what happened either. Best I can make of it is JJ got upset with the administration about wanting to lower academic standards for players, and they came to blows about it... that's the only explanation I can come up with why a man of supposed integrity would go from saying "this is my last posting" to brazenly kissing up to the ASU folks. I mean, the ASU slot is apparently not all that special of a position. And God knows his change of heart could NOT have been about money.
That being said, I hope all you hotheads who attend the Mustang Club meeting on Monday don't out and out lynch the guy - I don't want him to decide he needs to proactively sabatoge my beloved alma mater. We've taken our knocks for too long.
I also wish we had 30,000 more people like all the hotheads on this board who would always be in the stands at Ford Stadium, cheering the Mustangs on!
Wish I could be there. And yes, I would call him out. Nothing wrong with asking tough questions and demanding a sincere and honest answer (if he can provide such).
He want fans dedicated to attending games- we want a coach dedicated to our university.

Or someone will make a crazy loon emotional ranting fool out of themselves.
One or the other.
I am not sure if I qualify as an internet tough guy but I guarantee that if I am called on I will ask a tough question in a civil manner without coming across as a crazy emotional loon.
dude - feel free to look back over my posts on this issue. Dont think they would be thought of as brown nosing.
ill be there. I dont support him or any other coach - i support SMU. Healing this situation short term is a must. Others will take care of the longer term.
i look forward to hearing your rant. I am sure it will turn the situation around with its incisive brilliance.
