When GG was booed off the field at DKR, it wasnt a joke. It was very, very loud on the field and while he may well want to return with his friends, I don't see UT staff running him back out there as starting QB after that.
I suspect he and his family will talk plenty over the holidays and I'll check in with them over the coming weeks.
Shorthorn fans suck, I had to go to one of their home games. They seriously were yelling and cussing at Ash and McCoy... Im just like calm the f down they are young Qbs. Just be freaking patient, I had to deal with a guy who passed the same amount of Tds as inteceptions... and they laughed and then booed after the next turnover.

Seems eerily familiar, like you do that with SMU players?

I guess calling a guy McDermott on a message board is entirely different

Actually, despite his public comments that he would not be interested, Mack may be transitioned into the AD position at some point. I am somewhat doubtful that they will successfully poach their man, but rest assured that Texas will establish a new bar for head coach salary if the get him. The offer is enticing to say the least.

I keep hearing Peterson mentioned around Austin. First Manny Diaz joins and then Chris doesn't take any other jobs.

Brian Harsin, former Boise guy is also at UT. Petersen would be an interesting hire. However, with their QB problems, what a waste of an offensive mind.
Peterson may be a good coach (Have never followed BSU) but I certainly don't think he is in the running to A) displace MB in 2012 or B)sign a contract that will upend the head coach pay scale
