The Last 10 Years

I do believe we have dominated in the CUSA Commissioner's Cup over the last decade.

We are making strides. We are not to the level we want but we are getting there.

So correct me if I'm wrong:

Baylor has a Heisman and top 10 mens and women's basketball

TCU won the Rose Bowl and is now a national power and in the Big 12

Houston football has been ranked in the top 6 in the nation in December

Texas has won a national title and played for another.

A&M is going to the SEC

Tech football was ranked as high as number 2 and went to 10 straight bowl games.

Rice won a national title in baseball.

And our high point in mens athletics has been a 8-5 bowl win season?

Never ever point out as an accomplishment what a team WAS ranked - only their final ranking counts = #18. The Aggies were top 10 as well, clearly they aren't. We got a few votes in the Top 25. Woop.

But we haven't shot any of our players down at the quarry.

Don't forget about Arkansas winning a NC in basketball, competing for another, and their overall athletic success.

Just goes to show the potential the SWC had, too bad the yahoos running it never had any vision for the future.
