I hope Klemm stays, but while losing Klemm is bad, we can't fold up our tents and head to Division II because one assistant quit. We just need to replace him with someone who has the same type of qualifications or better. I understand there is a Redskins offensive tackle who graduated from UT who has the rest of the year off. Just kidding on that, but in reality, there are others who can come in the pick up where Klemm left off. Its bad, but not the end of the world. Its not like the death penalty or academic restrictions.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Only difference is AK has been making his argument day in and day out since he got here...
I know which way I would vote...
Has there been anything reported to suggest it's Klemm or JJ?

I'm just shocked to learn that only one guy on the staff works. AK Does everything. AK recruits, coaches, wins games. One man wrecking crew no one can replace. JJ is lost in a world without him and has no clue how to hire new coaches or recruit. Hell he still runs some antiqued offense no one wants to see. Why can't we run the option wing T or even the single wing? Wonder if AK will get HCIW title service at UCLA. Needs to. Hell, he should be their next head coach. Mora is an idiot. AK the only man that can do everything by himself. We will be lucky to win a game next year. Bring back Pye or Copeland to run things, Bennett, Caven to coach anyone!! They all can do better than our current HC. We have a loser that no one wants coaching our kids!
All is lost folks. Time to sign off Pony Fans forever as we gave ourselves the death penalty this time. We hired JJ. Maybe Thad has another documentary to do on how JJ is the worst individual ever to walk the planet. Maybe the anti-Christ or devil himself. Everything would be perfect if AK would just be HC. Sigh...It's over.

There has been a suggestion that one might be less likely to be retained without the other.

The group that thinks that June's buyout is 10M-15M
I said the expense was $10-15m. I quoted my source (Rival). Rivals had it wrong at $3m per year. It's $2m x 3 + next coaches buyout. They don't have $6m-10m either...
next coach's buyout is irrelevant because it changes on who that coach is going to be (plus it's an expense we would have to pay if June decided to leave) the buyout is $6m and total switching costs are dependent on what sort of deal we negotiate with June + who we decide to go with as our next coach

Hence the range. If SMU fire's JJ, $6m is the starting point.
JJ may be willing to negotiate that down in order to save face ("decided to resign" instead of "got fired") - I don't know this for a fact and I doubt anyone does but it's worth checking into

Let's just not go to games to show how unhappy we are with THE DEVIL, JJ.
Got to stay home to watch LSU vs. Alabama or any other college game anyways might as well say you're making a statement about THE DEVIL as well.

Why don't you just stop posting and let everyone assume you are an idiot rather than continuing to remind everyone? I am pis .sed at June and think we are in some deep shi .t now in a "worst case scenario" losing Klemm and keeping JJ...but get real buddy. Hope we can maintain at least some semblance of this recruiting class, and that we are able to start a serious search for a head coach over the next 12 months.
Thanks, I thought you put me on foe to save yourself the aggravation. Maybe the joke is on you because you're that stupid to believe that. Remember, June told you not to believe everything you read on the internet.

True. But then there would be no question of whether to retain the hc because he would have been gone, and a new staff would be on their way in.

So how does everyone panicking out there deal with this previously reported AK tweet from the other night? on @IAMKLEMM: "Hey guys relax! Im not going anywhere and neither is OUR class. Trust in Steve O and June as I do and lets move forward! We are so close!"

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

You had a good question Tread. I don't think it was much spin (a little be here an there). I just don't think there is anything to see. JJ setting us up for AK's departure was perhaps most notable part. ... /quote] Really? How 'bout Jones saying he was never offered the ASU job, verbally or otherwise. None of this happened. It was simply birthed on the "internet."

It's JJ fault. JJ made him post that on twitter. JJ is a liar and the devil.
