That game was my first exposure to everything SMU. Alas, I was 10 and had a bedtime, and went to bed with SMU leading by twenty or so. It wasn't until much later (like months I think) that I learned they actually lost. Since that fateful night, though, the Ponies were my "team."

I always watch SMU-BYU...that is the only time SMU Football is on TV in the Northeast.

Being there on the sideline, waiting for our post-game performance, I, as well as the rest of the Mustang Band, up close and personal the fateful touchdown pass. None of us, probably, will watch this to relive the disbelief and horror.

Frankly, I'd rather see SMU v OU in the Astrodome in the Bluebonnet Bowl. Classic SMU come-from-behind, last-minute victory! However, I don't think it was televised.
