Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?
trying to find it. there was a link somewhere on PF's or Rivals, but I can't seem to find it now. i listened to it last week. maybe the thread got nuked. It was an arizona radio station and it was from tues or wed of last week.
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?
Lol, no kidding. Money & Commitment brought us back. This could truly be a new beginning, but some of you just love a crappy brand of football, so long as it gets you 6 wins in a garbage league. Keep momentum & move on
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?Jones is a lier & so is Klemm. As much as they would like to shrug this stuff off, they can't.
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?
We weren't exactly dead, friend. Missed an '06 bowl by a couple of yards. Our entire offensive line this season was recruited by Bennett. This gets totally exaggerated about Jones. He didn't raise us from the dead. We've all been involved in that process for 23 years.
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?classic thread. pretty amusing (and depressing) to read through. where is nick anyway?
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?Nick was a little harsh with opinion but he was right. That was the time to move. If we had, we very likely would be in a completely different position.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?"The presentation was awkward, to say the least. But all Jones said was that the entire staff is involved in recruiting. And that in the past they have all been involved in recruiting. Just because two members of the staff are the most visible or vocal about their efforts doesn't mean that the rest of the staff isn't doing anything."
Yeeeeeah. Lots of harsh opinions that proved to be very true in this thread. I remember that day....Mitch McConnell/George S. Patton/Big10PonyFan was pretty spot on with his analysis as well.
Re: Tweets at the Coach Lunch?I remember the old fogies buying it.
