Not much news for a "big recruiting weekend"

Myers seems to have been solidified.

Austin Stewart ALMOST committed, waiting for an offer from Texas Tech (and then visit if so) before making a decision. Should know by end of week. This guy would be a good pick up and could come in immediately and start (need a replacement for Banjo and this could would be an upgrade IMHO). Said he really liked the campus and wants to commit, just waiting on TT. Said he met with June Jones and was assured Jones would be there throughout his tenure (was very impressed with everything and wants to makes a decision very soon - will enroll in Spring wherever he goes).

According to Scout, Meyers is very solid and loved his official visit to SMU.

I have been a fan for 22 years...not going anywhere, but I dont needs to spend 6k a year to watch an egomaniac....Ill wait till he is done, then ill get my seats back...guy is going to run this back into the ground anyway...

Planning on leaving and "ushered out the door" have very different connotations.
